He does his own design work, and, unless there is a special or more complicated design, he is confident there is no additional need for an architect.
He and his business are "licensed and insured and everything is by code." Some of his standards are 36" foundations, rebar in all footers, 10" and in some cases 12" joists, 4" slabs for new homes and bigger for garages as needed. They also do up to 3 story commercial buildings as well as apartments.
